Live activity that boosted core action by 12%

⚠️ Problem:
Users struggle to stay motivated and consistently track meals. Many want to improve their eating schedule to reach nutrition goals.

💡 Hypothesis:
Live Activity will remind users to log meals, increasing consistency and helping them stick to their schedule.

We started with a simple meal schedule based on user settings and added key actions directly to the Live Activity.

We ran an A/B test to measure the impact of the Live Activity widget.

The results:
↑ +12% increase in completed meal logs
↑ +5% increase in hydration tracking
